TDK-Lambda DBM20/E DIN Rail Module Buffer out 24Vdc 20A, 448watt Spring clamp terminal
The DBM module is ideal for providing short-term peak or hold-up power to loads connected to a 24Vdc output AC-DC power supply. It can provide an additional 250ms hold-up at 448W of output power. During normal operation, energy is stored in the DBM20's electrolytic capacitors. When the AC power is interrupted for a short period of time, the DBM20 continues to power the load, allowing the connected equipment to be shut down in a safe and controlled manner. The DBM20 can be set to either fixed or variable buffer mode. In fixed mode the module supplies power when the input voltage drops to 22.4V, while in variable mode this occurs when the input voltage drops by 1V from the initial value. Multiple buffer modules can be connected in parallel to increase the hold-up time. The product status can be accessed remotely via a DC OK relay, or locally via LED indicators. The output voltage can also be inhibited to prevent a dangerous discharge of the stored energy.
